Leslie J. Clement, Jr. is a 1974 graduate of the LSU Law School and has since then been engaged in the private practice of law with an office in Thibodaux. He is a 1970 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Nicholls State University where he served as Student Government President and was named to the Nicholls State Hall of Fame upon graduation.

While in law school, Mr. Clement was named as a member of the Louisiana Law Review and the Moot Court Board, both of which are honorary student organizations.
 

The diverse nature of his practice has afforded Mr. Clement the opportunity to become experienced in a variety of legal matters. He has appeared in many Louisiana courts in connection with all types of cases and is an experienced trial lawyer who handles personal injury and other types of litigation on a regular basis. In addition, he is knowledgeable and experienced in handling successions, criminal cases, insurance and contract disputes, Social Security claims, divorce and custody/support cases, real estate transactions, workers’ compensation claims, and many other types of legal matters.
 

He is married to the former Sandra Rome, and they are the parents of three children - Paul, Philip, and Rebecca.
